Pen Kits

Should I get a fountain pen or a dip pen?
Hi I’m new at calligraphy and I’m wondering if I should get a fountain pen or a dip pen. For either one I would get a kit. The dip pen set is $15 and the fountain pen is $19. But the fountain pen comes with replacement ink cartridges. And I heard a dip pen is hard to use. And with the fountain pen I get paper but not with the dip pen. So which should I get?
That is entirely up to you and what makes you comfortable when using them.Calligraphy originally started with using a dip pen or quill pen. I suggest using the cartridge pen to learn and then move on to the dip pen later on, once you get the feel of doing calligraphy.
But like I said before that is up to you.
